Can you replace halogen downlights with LEDs?
Yes. We assess the existing fittings, ceiling openings, wiring and controls before recommending an LED replacement. Some upgrades involve a complete fitting and driver rather than a globe change. We also consider the installation requirements around ceiling insulation.
Will LED lighting reduce my electricity use?
LEDs generally use less electricity than halogen or incandescent lamps for a comparable light output. Your actual saving depends on the fittings being replaced, the new lighting design and how long the lights are used. We do not promise a fixed bill reduction.
Can my existing dimmer work with new LEDs?
Possibly, but compatibility needs checking. The LED fitting, driver and dimmer must work together. We check the proposed combination and explain whether the existing dimmer can stay or needs replacing.
Should I choose warm white or cool white lighting?
It depends on the room and how you use it. Warm white can suit relaxed living spaces, while a more neutral white may suit practical tasks. We discuss the light colour alongside brightness, glare, finishes and any adjoining rooms so the result feels consistent.
Can you install LED strip lighting in joinery?
Yes. We plan the strip position, suitable profile, power supply and controls around the joinery. Access to the driver and cable route matters, so it helps to discuss the lighting before cabinetry or renovation work is finished.
Do you install lights I have already purchased?
We can assess customer-supplied fittings for suitability before agreeing to install them. Send the product details and photos with your enquiry. The fitting needs to suit the location, available support, electrical supply and intended controls.
Can you help with a single room or a whole-home lighting upgrade?
Both. We can replace selected fittings, add lighting to one room or plan a broader upgrade. Tell us which spaces are involved, what you want to change and whether you are working around an existing ceiling or a renovation.
What information helps you quote lighting work?
Your suburb, the rooms involved, the approximate number of fittings and whether you are replacing lights or adding new positions are useful. Photos of the room and existing fittings help too. If you do not know the technical details, leave them for us to assess.
